Ich habe mein Fahrrad komplett foliert, von Silber auf Schwarz matt. Aufwendig waren die Übergänge, wo die Schweißnähte (oder wie man das nennt) sind. Am Sattelrohr musste ich die Folie oft kleiner schneiden, da ich das Rad nicht komplett auseinander bauen konnte. Hätte es jetzt im nachhinein anders gemacht, die Schweißnähte ausgespart und nur Teilfoliert. Der Kundenservice war gut und auch das Paket war schnell hier. 2 Sterne Abzug für den Preis mit Versand. Dort wo Schrauben sind kommt die Folie etwas hoch. Kann aber auch mein Fehler sein. Ein bisschen Geschick ist erforderlich, aber es macht Freude, wenn es dann fertig ist.

Die Folie lässt sich leicht befestigen und hält bisher super. Die Optik gefällt mir sehr gut. Die gewölbten Stellen lassen sich durch das Erwärmen mit Hilfe eines Föhns dehnen. Eine günstige und praktische Alternative zur Lackierung.

Noch haben wir unsere Räder nicht mit der Folie geschützt… Aber vor ein paar Jahren haben wir 2 Räder gegen Kratzer und zwecks Bikepacking stellenweise mit genau dieser Folie beklebt und sind super zufrieden damit. Da der Rahmen auch matt schwarz ist, sieht man keinen Übergang… perfekt!!! Sehr zu empfehlen … auch wenn das Rad dadurch ein paar Gramm mehr wiegt (ich wiege auch ein paar Gramm mehr!!!)

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Bicycle Films

1. Choose a pattern and/or a color

You will receive 1.5 meters (MINI bike wrap) or more from us. You can then cut it to size yourself. The same applies to the reflective wraps.
2. Glue the film down lengthwise or however you like

This bicycle wrap is ideal for metallic and smooth surfaces:

If the hands and the bike are free of grease, you can briefly lift the standard wrap (patterned or solid) and smooth it out again during the application process. The adhesive only cures after a certain amount of time.

For curved areas (e.g., on a Dutch bike), a regular hairdryer can also be used. The heat softens the wrap, making it easier to work with in those areas.
3. Decorate your bike with reflective elements

If you only want to add color or patterns to certain areas, for example to cover manufacturer logos or scratches, reflective films are a great option. With minimal effort, your bike will get a custom look and your visibility in the dark will be increased.
4. Your bike frame is protected and looks great again

As long as the film is stuck to your bike, it absorbs scuffs and scratches, e.g. from the bike lock. That is why a bike film would also be a good choice to protect new bikes. This keeps the original paintwork intact for a long time.
